Guide for Authors
Submission Guidelines:
Authors are encouraged to submit their original manuscripts online via the Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer Research (JHMTR) website.
Submit Manuscript
All papers undergo a peer-review process and should be written in clear, concise English. Ensure your manuscript is checked for grammatical, typographical, and clarity issues before submission.
Manuscript Preparation:
- File Format:
- Submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word file format (.doc or .docx).
- Structure:
- Title: Should not contain abbreviations or formulae and should be no longer than three lines.
- Author Names and Affiliations: Include full names and affiliations of all authors.
- Corresponding Author Email: Provide the email address of the corresponding author.
- Abstract: A concise summary of the manuscript’s content. Avoid abbreviations.
- Keywords: A list of relevant keywords.
- Body: The main text of the manuscript.
- References: Numbered in the order they appear in the text.
- Manuscripts should include:
- Abbreviations:
- Avoid using abbreviations in the abstract. Explain all abbreviations when they first appear in the text.
- References:
- Number references in the order they are cited in the manuscript.
Paper Template:
- The publication of any manuscript in JHMTR requires adherence to the paper template. The template is available in the JHMTR Template file.
- Initial submissions do not need to conform strictly to the template. However, if accepted, authors must submit the final version of the manuscript compliant with the template.
Authorship change request:
- For changing the authorship, Please fill the form and attach that as supplementary file.
Fees:
- For manuscripts submitted on or after August 1, 2026, the Article Processing Charge (APC) is 400 USD for non-Iranian corresponding authors and 20,000,000 IRR for Iranian corresponding authors.
The APC supports the various stages of the publishing workflow, including editorial handling, peer review, copyediting, typesetting, online hosting, and long-term digital archiving. These charges enable the journal to maintain high scholarly standards and ensure the broad dissemination and accessibility of published research to the international scientific community. Partial or full APC waivers may be granted upon request by the corresponding author and are subject to the approval of the Editorial Board.
