Policy on Appeals

Authors who disagree with the editorial decision on their manuscript have the right to appeal. To initiate an appeal, authors should contact the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer Research. The Editor-in-Chief will review the manuscript, along with the editorial and peer reviewers' comments, and provide a decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of the manuscript. If necessary, the Editor-in-Chief may assign the manuscript to a new handling editor for an independent review or to new reviewers for additional peer evaluation. In such cases, the final decision will be made by the Editorial Board of the journal.

The appeals process is straightforward. Authors may submit their complaints via email to: jhmtr@semnan.ac.ir. All complaints will be acknowledged within three working days.
